Zoom2
Is a safe, effective chairside whitening system which can dramatically whiten your teeth in one hour. It is the ideal choice for busy professionals who require an immediate result.
The procedure couldn’t be simpler. Firstly your lips and gums are covered, leaving only your teeth exposed. Then your cosmetic dentist applies the gel and activates the whitening lamp to break up stains and discolouration. Following treatment you will be given a home kit to maintain your new improved smile.
Home Whitening
Is a more affordable alternative to chairside whitening for those not needing an immediate result. At an initial cosmetic consultation with your dentist we will listen to your expectations and explain the procedure. At the following visit you will collect your personal whitening kit and receive detailed instructions on its use. You are then able to proceed with your whitening in the comfort of your own home.
FAQ’S
Is whitening safe?
Yes. Tooth whitening, under the supervision of a dentist, is safe. As with any whitening product, it is not recommended for children under 16 and pregnant or lactating women.
Who is suitable?
Nearly everyone. You will have a consultation where your dentist can decide your suitability through an oral exam and shade assessment. The degree of whiteness will vary from patient to patient depending on the structure of the teeth. Whitening will not affect crowns, veneers or fillings.
Will it hurt?
Depending on which system is used, some people can experience sensitivity either during or after treatment. This is temporary and may be helped with the use of desensitising toothpaste.
How long will it last?
You will be given some post whitening care instructions which, when followed, will keep your teeth lighter than they were before.
